About Mrs. Monks

Hello! My name is Kristina Faith Monks, and I am a Pre-K teachers at the Early Childhood Center, I’m so excited for the 2024-2025 school year! We have many fun experiences ahead in Pre-K where we will learn through play. This is my 26th year in education. I earned my degree from Houston Baptist University (now Houston Christian University), and I’ve taught in Alief and Humble ISDs. My journey continues at the “happiest place in Deer Park”! I look forward to teaching your child and fostering a life-long curiosity and love of learning.

Communication

*In addition to your student's Daily Folder, our class will utilize messaging through School Status to communicate school and class information.

*Teachers and students will be engaged in activities throughout the day. Emails and messages may not be read until after dismissal. Please call the school office at 832-668-8390 with any urgent messages.

*Changes in transportation for students must be made in writing and submitted to the student's teacher or office personnel. Any person picking up a student by car must have an ECC issued car tag. If a car tag is not displayed, a valid form of identification will need to be presented in the front office.
