About Mrs. Monks
Hello! My name is Kristina Faith Monks, and I go by "Faith". I’m so excited for the 2023-2024 school year! We have many fun experiences ahead in Pre-K where we will learn through play. This is my 25th year in education. I’ve previously taught in Alief and Humble ISD. My journey continues at the “happiest place in Deer Park”! I look forward to teaching your child and fostering a life-long curiosity and love of learning.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my children. I have a son attending Sam Houston State University and a daughter who is a senior in Humble ISD. Together with my husband, we enjoy dining out and thrifting.

Communication
*In addition to your student's Daily Folder, our class will utilize messaging through School Status to communicate school and class information.
*Teachers and students will be engaged in activities throughout the day. Emails and messages may not be read until after dismissal. Please call the school office at 832-668-8390 with any urgent messages.
*Changes in transportation for students must be made in writing and submitted to the student's teacher or office personnel. Any person picking up a student by car must have an ECC issued car tag. If a car tag is not displayed, a valid form of identification will need to be presented in the front office.
