Our 2023-2024 School Year
Welcome to the Early Childhood Center (ECC). My name is Elena Rodriguez (she/her). I will be your child’s pre-k teacher this year. This will be my 12th year at ECC. I began my teaching journey at this campus as a paraprofessional then taught as a certified teacher in both pre-k and special education. I am certified in Interdisciplinary Studies Early Childhood-6th Grade, Special Education and English as a Second Language through the University of Houston Clear Lake.

Together, we will work toward helping your child grow academically in reaching their Texas Pre-K Guideline goals and in their social-emotional awareness and regulation.
Communication
*In addition to your student's Daily Folder, our class will utilize messaging through School Status to communicate school and class information.
*Teachers and students will be engaged in activities throughout the day. Emails and messages may not be read until after dismissal. Please call the school office at 832-668-8390 with any urgent messages.
*Changes in transportation for students must be made in writing and submitted to the student's teacher or office personnel. Any person picking up a student by car must have an ECC issued car tag. If a car tag is not displayed, a valid form of identification will need to be presented in the front office.
