Welcome to my class!

Welcome to Mrs. Winters' and Ms. Smith's Pre-K Co-teach classroom! We are so excited for your child to join us for what is sure to be a fantastic year! 

 Our class is a co-teach classroom- this means we have children with and without disabilities in our room. This is our first year to co-teach together and we are so excited to give your children this wonderful opportunity! 

Our program teaches the academic skills to ensure students are prepared for kindergarten. Being in a co-teach classroom exposes children to others who may look, act, or speak differently; this provides multiple opportunities for all students to learn empathy, patience, and how to be helpful and kind.

Your child will have 4 teachers-  Mrs. Winters is the Pre-K teacher, Ms. Smith is the ECSE classroom teacher, Mrs. Dancey and Miss "G" (Gonzalez) are the paraprofessionals in our classroom.
